LAB Salon Miami was founded in 2000 by colorist Peter Rodriguez (known as Peter Colorist) and his long-time business partner Robert Torres. The studio focuses on hair color and haircuts that feel like they truly belong to the person wearing them.Peter believes hair is an accessory and the client is the main event. His work is centered on natural-looking hair color, gray blending and coverage, corrective color, and low-maintenance, wash-and-wear haircuts that grow out well. He often describes ideal color as feeling like the perfect pair of shoes — the moment you put it on, you just know it fits.Instead of fighting gray, he works with it, blending natural color and gray so it looks soft and grows in without a harsh line of demarcation. Every visit is treated as part of an evolution, refining tone and shape so the hair looks good the day it’s done, as it grows out, and even when the client returns.
